Around The World, Around The World...

I am currently exploring the world of social networking…around the world. While Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and LinkedIn are common sites in the states, there are tons of social networks in other countries that are just as popular and wildly successful. In the next few days of reading intheincrowd.blogspost.com, you will get to see some of the findings of my research. I will be focusing on: Spain, France, United Kingdom and Germany.

Thought you may be interested in this...When the earthquake hit and everyone in Chile was facebooking to find their loved ones. My mom was calling Bolivia like crazy (as were my uncles and my dad) my sister and I had already talked to our cousin on Facebook and he said the landline was down, but their broadband signal was fine. He said they felt it in their apartment building, but everyone was fine!
