(Spain)TUENTI (pronounced twenty) is known as Spain's version of Facebook and is the country’s most popular social network. However it is an invitation based platform, making it incredibly difficult to join.
Because I studied in Spain, I was super excited to join this type of network and reconnect with friends from my abroad experience. I've been trying for a solid week to receive an invitation utilizing the few contacts I have in Spain, current social networks, and Yahoo Answers. No dice.
If I ever receive an invite, I’ll give you all more details and hook you up with the coveted invite. Until then – a si es la vida.
